Due to the current financial strain on the club, can we refrain from using the large boats on a wednesday night if there is small numbers. The Zodiac is an ideal boat for small numbers. The clubs fuel bill is rising so we need to start watching how we use our resources.

The club is active all year round and provides training from beginner up to instructor level. The qualifications awarded are recognized internationally through their equivalence with CMAS grades. This allows the qualifications and experience of Athlone divers trained by CFT to be recognized worldwide. Athlone scuba divers are active in the community and voluntarily provide a team for underwater searches when requested and provide rescue cover for water events like sailing and swimming.
